Nomenclatural Comment: This species is named for one of the enthusiastic supporters of this study, James H. Boone. He assisted with specimen access through loans and during the first author’s visit to the Field Museum of Natural History, Chicago, IL., Holotype. NEW ZEALAND: Waikato: 1♂ (NZAC), aedeagus dissected and mounted in balsam on a clear plastic card, “NEW ZEALAND WO Mahoenui Gribbons Road 26 Jun 1977 G.W. Ramsay”, “Litter 77/81”, “N. Z. Arthropod Collection, NZAC Private Bag 92170 AUCKLAND New Zealand”, “HOLOTYPE Sagola boonei Park and Carlton 2013”. Paratypes ( n= 4: 2 males; 2 females). NEW ZEALAND: Taranaki: 1♂ (NZAC), Mt. Messenger, III 1933, A.E. Brookes; Taupo: 1♂ (JTN), Waituhi Saddle, 1 IX 1993, J. Nunn, leaf litter; Wai kat o: 2♀♀ (NZAC), same data as holotype.
