Nomenclatural Comment
This species is listed in de Lange et al. 2004 as sparse, and they accept it as indigenous to New Zealand, however the presence of this species in New Zealand is not published in any other sources and the authors of the name, Lack & Holzapfel (1993) record the distribution as only in Australia, as does Holzapfel 1994 (Willdenowia 24: 97-218)
