Nomenclatural Comment: Koponen discussed the hesitancy of previous Australian authors who tentatively assigned P. pseudomollis to synonymy with Philonotis tenuis. In recognising P. pseudomollis, Koponen included one specimen from New Zealand that had been in an overseas Herbarium.
