Grewe 3037 & T. Widhelm (AK, holotype; F, isotype)., This new species is dedicated to our colleague and friend, Ulrik Søchting, for his important contributions to lichenology., Material previously named either as L. lobificans or L. finki is likely to be either L. ulrikii or L. neozealandica. Dan Blanchon, pers. comm. after publication of paper by Barcenas-Peña et al. (2021).
