- Welti et al. (Fungal Diversity 55: 47-64, 2012) place L. elegans in their new genus Atrolenzites. They discuss the possibility that Daedalea repanda (= Lenzites repandus), originally described from new Guinea, may not be the same species as D. elegans (= Lenzites elegans), orginally described from Guadeloupe.
