Unpublished analysis of GenBank data suggests Deltopyxis has an isolated position within Helotiales sensu Johnston et al. 2019. Phaeopyxis, also placed in Deltopyxidaceae by Ekanayaka et al. is in the Ostropomycetidae, see references under Phaeopyxis [PRJ, July 2020]
