Taxonomic Comment
Not really a Coprinus. MOR sequence analyses place this firmly within Psathyrella, although a number of analyses place it with one group of Coprinellus and sister to Psathyrella, e.g. Padamsee et al. See also Keirle, M.R., Hemmes, D.E., Desjardin, D.E., 2004. Agaricales of the Hawaiian islands 8. Agaricaceae: Coprinus and Podaxis; Psathyrellaceae: Coprinopsis, Coprinellus and Parasola.
