Taxonomic Comment
So 2005, p. 163 made this endemic New Zealand species a synonym of Radula retroflexa, a species present from Japan to New Zealand. So 2005 p. 165 cites Yamada 1979, 1986, and 1996 in favour of this and argues that R. allisonii falls within the variation seen in R. retroflexa.
