- Holotypus: JCM 8933 (originaliter ut NZ-16). The strain NZ-16, which was isolated from a dead leaf of Pseudopanax arboreum infected with sooty moulds at Param Track, Huia, New Zealand in 1987 is the type strain of the species. This strain is deposited at the Japan Collection of Microorganisms, Wako, Saitama, as JCM 8933.
