- following rediscovery of 'type' material, this name is restricted to northern hemisphere (particularly UK) collections characterised by purple KOH-extractable stromatal pigment;[SP]sensu auct. NZ.;;Accepted for New Zealand by Ju & Rogers (1997), but Rogers et al. (1999) consider this species to be restricted to Europe, and the widespread species previously considered D. concentrica is now accepted as D. childiae.
