NB. Longstanding confusion between Pleospora herbarum/Stemphylium herbarum and Pleospora tarda/Stemphylium botryosum;[SP]Possibly confused with Pleospora tarda (anam.: Stemphylium botryosum).;;Possibly confused with Pleospora tarda (anam.: Stemphylium botryosum).
Taxonomic Comment
In a strict sense P. herbarum has been placed in synonymy with Stemphyllium vesicarium, but many of the names placed in synonymy with P. herbarum in NZFungi have not been studied in recent years, so keepo the name here in a senso lato concept. [PRJ, May 2019]
