Moorii, has been used in different forms, Caloplaca lbmoorii Zahlbr., Caloplaca l.b.-moorii Zahlbr., and was regarded as an invalid name and Galloway, 1983, published a replacement name, Caloplaca mooreae Galloway, based on the same type. More recently the original name has been reconfigured to Caloplaca luciae-beatricis-mooreae Zahlbr, but the variantsCaloplaca lucy-beatice-moorii Zahlb. and Caloplaca lucy-beatrice-mooreae Zahlbr. have also been used.
