- Nomenclatural Comment
- Hookeria curviseta Colenso was treated by Dixon (1927) as a synonym of Pterygophyllum dentatum. The type was gathered near Norsewood (Hawke’s Bay L.D.), and was published in the Transaction and Proceedings of the New Zealand Institute. No appropriate type material can be located in BM and it is likely that Dixon referred to the protologue rather than specimens in proposing the synonymy. However, little purpose would be served by questioning Dixon’s synonymy and this name is not discussed further., The type was gathered near Norsewood (Hawke’s Bay L.D.). No appropriate type material can be located in BM.
