- Published as Celmisia du-rietzii but according to the ICBN (St Louis) Article 60C.4 (c) use of the hyphen is incorrect., Martin ascribed the species to Cockayne and Allan; however, according to the ICN Art. 46.5 and 46.6 (Turland et al. 2018), the author can be cited either as C. durietzii Martin or as C. durietzii Cockayne & Allan ex W.Martin., Type:New Zealand. South Island, Arthur’s Pass, Mar 1921, W. Martin s.n. (holotype CHR 9376), After Dr. G. Einar Du-Rietz. Eminent Swedish botanist and ecologist.
