Nomenclatural Comment: The synonymy of Rhodohypoxis in Hypoxis has been accepted here. Kocyan et al (2011) state: "Monophyly for Hypoxis can be achieved by the exclusion of two Australian spp. and the inclusion of the oligospecific, African Rhodohypoxis." Other workers have expressed similar opinions.
