Nomenclatural Comment
This is sometimes cited as Temnoma palmatum (Lindb. ex Pearson) R.M.Schust. However, in the protologue of the basionym, Pearson clearly states: 'I intended publishing this species as new, and as such forwarded it to Prof. Lindbergk who wrot to me:— :Your species appears to be the same as my Temnoma plamatum (MSS, Oct.10, 1876) which..." Being the same, I adp[t the Professor's appropriate name.' IT seems only the name is attributable to Lindberg and the description should be attributed to Pearson.
