- Nomenclatural Comment
- Isolated from diseased Peraxilla colensoi plants infecting Nothofagus trees. Initially thought to be specific to this mistletoe, and listed as in Gradual Decline in the NZ threat classification system, on the basis of the threat status of the host. Subsequent DNA sequencing showed its ITS sequence matches a Diaporthe species common on Nothofagus.
